Weekend with Nate part 2-Horsepasture River

After our day at frogtown, we decided on the drive back to meet up the next day to do the horsepasture.The level was med/low but the weather was a perfect 55 and sunny.With good lines and smiles we rolled down the river happy to have it to ourselves.It was Nate's 1st time in there so we were just taking it easy and soaking it in.After running the 60 or 70 foot staircase falls,the classic horsepasture rapid,we continued on downstream running everything except ramp b.After b we blinded highway to heaven with good lines down to the takeout.Although the hike in is longer/harder now,the hike out is about half what it used to be,still alot of hiking!Thanks to the park service for the nice trails down there,later.
